Below are some FAQ's for your benefit that may help understand who we are and why gutter cleaning is important to the health of your home.

Very basically, we remove leaves, debris, soil (the leaves turn into soil...your gutters are great composters) and other things (like tennis balls that you throw for your pup and end up in the gutters).  As part of the gutter cleaning process, we put a hose with a jet tip down clogged downspouts ensuring that they are clear.  All of this helps prevent the growth of moss, etc. and helps keep the mosquito's at bay.

WHY SHOULD I CLEAN MY GUTTERS?

Gutters that haven't been cleaned tend to be full of debris.  This debris causes water to back up and flow over the edge of the gutter causing foundation damage, siding damage, etc..  Standing water also causes sagging and rotting of your gutters which means a good bit of money out of your pocket to fix.  Denver Gutter Cleaning offers services that may cost a little over the short term but will save you hundreds or thousands over the long term.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A GUTTER CLEANER OUT?

In most instances, semi-annual gutter cleanings (twice per year) are recommended.  You do one gutter cleaning in the fall after the leaves have fallen.  This will keep your gutters from holding water and then freezing-problems like this are very common and cause so much damage yet are easily avoided with a little planning.  People spend hundreds and thousands of dollars fixing the effects of freezing/thawing water in their gutters and foundations.  The other time to have a gutter cleaner out is in the spring as your trees bud and produce leaves/seeds/flowers.  Most people don't realize how many seeds, etc. come off of a tree this time of year.  It's enough to easily clog/prevent drainage and cause the dreaded "run over the top" syndrome that damages foundations, siding, fascia, etc..  Get on our semi-annual plan and save yourself 10%.

HOW DOES DENVER GUTTER CLEANING ACTUALLY CLEAN MY GUTTERS?

We hand scoop the large debris out with gutter scoops and then use a high pressure blower to remove additional debris.  If a downspout is clogged, we will use a high pressure water jet tip to clear the debris.  This works better than water and causes considerably less of a mess.

WHAT ARE YOUR GUTTER CLEANING PAYMENT METHODS?

Denver Gutter Cleaning accepts most kinds of payments including major credit cards (if you pay online), checks, and cash.  We will send an email invoice when work is completed and you can pay with a credit card using a link provided or mail a check.
